I strongly recommend fully vaccinating kids against preventable diseases on the schedule approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). I do not support nonmedical vaccine exemptions.
As a general pediatrician, I enjoy forming a bond with each of my patients from birth to adolescence and every age in between. I also strive to form bonds with my patients’ families or caregivers. I believe that all of these relationships contribute to encouraging our patients to become young adults who are comfortable making decisions to promote their health."
– Aishwarya Deenadayalu, MDDr. Deenadayalu was raised in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and went to college at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended medical school at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She was in practice for 3 years in Indianapolis, Indiana, before moving to Portland in the summer of 2008. She admits that the most valuable knowledge that she has gained as a pediatrician is experiencing motherhood firsthand with her daughters born in February 2008 and June 2009.
Dr. Deenadayalu is married and enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as cooking, running, and traveling.
"Dr. Deenadayalu has been great. As a mom of a preemie she doesn’t mind my frequent questions and always responds very quickly. I have also had wonderful experiences with the advice nurse and the lactation consultant. Excellent practice."
– Tomi A."I can’t say enough about this practice! All of their doctors are amazing but I’m pretty partial to my kid’s pediatrician - Dr Deenadayalu. She has a sweet bedside manner but is also so knowledgeable. I’ve also appreciated her balanced perspective about everything. She takes the time to explain things and is just generally amazing."
– Susan O."We are a big fan of Metro Peds! We see Dr. Deenadayalu and we couldn't be happier with the care, attentiveness and resources we are provided for our little one."
