Well-child visits are preventive appointments, sometimes called checkups, where the pediatrician monitors your child’s growth and development. These appointments are scheduled at the frequency recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Office visits are recommended for non-urgent care, ongoing health management, or any health topics you’d like to discuss with your provider. These can include follow-ups for a recent illness or injury, managing a chronic condition, persistent symptoms (such as lingering coughs or rashes), behavioral and mental health discussions, or general health concerns that do not require immediate intervention.

Yes, we do! We reserve a set number of appointments every day for same-day requests. You can now book same-day visits online, at least 1 hour before the desired appointment time. Because these slots fill up quickly, we encourage you to book online or call our office first thing in the morning.

Of course! As a new patient, you’re welcome to book your first visit online. After your appointment is confirmed, we’ll text you a link to set up your MyHealth account, followed by other documents for you to complete before your arrival.

Yes, a comprehensive OSAA-approved sports physical, or a doctor’s physical release for sports, is included in a regularly scheduled well exam for children who participate in sports. When booking the appointment, please let our scheduler know that you would like to include a sports physical.

It’s important for a patient to see their primary care provider (PCP) for a sports physical exam instead of a school volunteer or sports trainer. A PCP evaluates the patient’s medical history in context with the type of sport they play to assess injury prevention and overall health readiness.
