Adolescence is full of physical and emotional changes. It can be a trying time for families, to say the least. Maintaining open lines of communication between parents and teen children can ease this time of transition and help maintain family well-being.
An important aspect of adolescent medicine is confidentiality with our teenage patients. The physicians at Metropolitan Pediatrics will respect our teenage patients’ need for privacy while encouraging healthy family conversations.
