I strongly recommend fully vaccinating kids against preventable diseases on the schedule approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). I do not support nonmedical vaccine exemptions.
I am dedicated to providing quality healthcare to children from infancy through adolescence. I create a nurturing environment from which children and their families can achieve an emotional and physical state of good health."– Metta Willey, MD
Like father, like daughter rings especially true when talking about Dr. Willey’s chosen profession (her father is also a pediatrician). But her love of pediatrics goes way beyond her early exposure to it – she’s fascinated by the science of how our bodies work, loves learning, and has a passion for working with kids. She also enjoys being a part of children’s lives as they grow up, watching them develop, helping them when they are sick, and encouraging healthy habits for the future!
Dr. Willey is all about family, and loves being active with her husband and two daughters. They can often be found jogging, playing in the park, or traveling together. To relax, Dr. Willey indulges her artsy side by drawing or painting.
Dr. Willey grew up in Grants Pass, Oregon.
"Dr. Willey is simply the best! She takes the time to listen and understand our needs, I never feel rushed. Dr. Willey is very caring and knowledgeable. The best part is my girls love her and they feel comfortable at their appointments."– Renee O.
"Dr. Willey is amazing! Very understanding! No rushing! Lots of caring!"– Rob M.
