I help families achieve their feeding goals, whatever they may be. Breastfeeding success looks different for everyone and my gentle approach blends evidence-based research, the realities of life, and each family's personal feeding goals.”
– Lara Greenberg, IBCLCLara discovered her true calling after becoming a mother herself. Years of working in a corporate job left her feeling unfulfilled, so she decided to pursue a career in healthcare. Her own breastfeeding journey with three children sparked a passion for helping others navigate the challenges and rewards of motherhood.
Leaving behind the corporate world, Lara dedicated herself to learning and growing as a breastfeeding expert. She became a WIC breastfeeding peer counselor, gaining valuable hands-on experience before returning to school to earn her International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification. With over seven years of clinical practice in both private and hospital settings, Lara has honed her skills in providing personalized care for families.
What Lara finds most rewarding about her work is empowering parents to feel confident in their ability to feed and care for their babies. She believes that instilling knowledge and confidence is essential for creating positive and nurturing experiences.
When she’s not helping families, Lara enjoys spending quality time with her three sons. Together, they love exploring the outdoors, cooking delicious meals, and traveling to new places. A passionate tennis player, Lara finds the sport to be a great way to stay active, socialize, and channel her competitive spirit. And let’s not forget about her furry companions – her adorable pup, Reggie, and two beautiful cats, Guapo and Gray, who bring joy and tranquility to her life.
