Care Philosophy

I value providing patient-centered, compassionate, and holistic care for families. Learning to feed a baby is hard work and can be unexpectedly challenging. I believe it’s crucial to find support that is knowledgeable, understanding, and evidence-based. My top priority is meeting parents where they are without judgment, ensuring we create a sustainable plan together that prioritizes the family's mental health and well-being.”

Biography

Chelsea’s dive into health and wellness started in the pool as a competitive swimmer, but her true calling took shape after welcoming her first baby. Learning firsthand the powerful role breast milk plays in a healthy start, she shifted her focus from pursuing a career as a registered dietitian to the wonderful world of lactation.

For Chelsea, being an IBCLC is all about giving you the tools, confidence, and high-fives you need to crush your feeding goals. Whether you’re navigating your very first latch or figuring out the rhythms of a growing family, she meets you right where you are with steady encouragement. Nothing brings Chelsea more joy than empowering parents, watching hurdles turn into victories, and supporting families as they grow over the years.

When she isn’t serving as the board secretary for the Oregon Washington Lactation Association or caring for patients, Chelsea is busy soaking up life with her two kids and two cats. You’ll usually find them out on local hiking trails, kayaking, or in the kitchen experimenting with vegetarian recipes (a fun new adventure inspired by her daughter’s deep love for animals). To stay recharged, Chelsea loves reading about science, exploring herbal medicine, rolling out her yoga mat, and of course, getting in a good swim.
