From the moment of conception until they graduate from college (and beyond) the safety and wellbeing of our children is of utmost concern. The world is seemingly full of hazards and potential mishaps. As parents and caregivers it is our job to help our children avoid injuries and still enjoy the adventures that are inherent to childhood. One of the best ways that we can do that is to be aware of their developmental capabilities and anticipate predictable hazards.

As parents and caregivers, we recognize that we will not prevent all injuries or every mishap, but will count ourselves successful if we are aware, anticipate and avoid the big ones.
